You are now not obliged to return your vehicle to your car's main dealer during the warranty period. Whilst a vehicle is still under the manufacturer's warranty, usually 3 years, it must be serviced as per the manufacturer's specification. This is often mis-construed as meaning that it has to be serviced by the Main Dealer.
