Air Conditioning Re-gas ServiceUsing your AC is the most efficient way to demist the windscreen during the winter months. Demist problems? The gas dissipates over time and should be re-charged every 2 years. We can top up gas while you wait. Ideally you should consider an A/C service every 2 years to keep it working at maximum efficiency.
If your A/C has failed, we can diagnose A/C faults. e.g. Leaks or condenser problems. |

How we service your A/C
Our state of the art automated air con service retrieves, cleanses, analyses and re-charges your air conditioning climate control system.
A correct A/C service involves extracting the gas from within the system, weighing and cleansing it before returning it to the system and then topping up the system with gas to the maximum level.
As part of this process, the system should be checked for any leaks, before it is re-filled with gas.
Note that the pollen filter should be renewed periodically (usually as part of the vehicle’s annual service) since if it is blocked the ventilation system will not be working at maximum efficiency and can result in bad odours.
Bad Smell in your car?
If you have bad smell in the system we'll check if the pollen filter needs changing, but note that would be at an additional cost. For £7.50, we can also offer an "air conditioning sanitiser" for exteme cases of odour! e.g. Dead rodents decaying.
